The day the 19th December 2024 will be marked as an important date for the people living in Tammong village. The official inauguration of water supply under Jal Jeevan Mission at Tammong village by Shri.Wangpang Konyak Hon’ble MLA and Advisor Department of Social Welfare,Government of Nagaland.It was grace in the presence of Executive Engineer Er.Lutho Katiry PHED, CDPO,DWO and many others at the inaugural programme.
Shri.Wangpang Konyak Hon’ble MLA and Advisor talked about how the sacrifice that have been done by the predecessors to make such happen. Therefore such sacrifice should not go in vain and must be remembered.
The Tammong villagers are the luckiest because the source had been located by the help of the mother village that is Mon village as the reservoir is connected from Mon village.
Water being the most essential element for living and of human cleanliness, water has played a major role for human development also. He spoke of to learn how to conserve and preserve the water also.He also shared of his vision for development and plans for all round development of his Constituency.
