Road has become the formost important part and partial of every primary development. But, when we look into the condition of the Eastern Nagaland it is pitiable to cite that the roads are in the making and still not yet linked some of the villages.

If road was not properly developed ,don’t think of the other developmental activities blooming in these areas. Whom is to be blamed ? .We even don’t know. The representatives, the contractors or bla bla bla etc.
We are still backward economically,politically,educational and so on. We need good roads to be linked to each from towns to every little hamlets with a all weathered road. But who will build that. Is the Government of the day going to build that. Is the the village councils with the VDB funds or is it going to be build by someone donors from other alien world.
Roads and roads that we cry for. We have broken our back enough. We had a sleepless nights travelling . We had to ask for a flight service but still that we cannot effort as we are still economically backward.
Road is all we want and thats our cry. It has everything in it in a tiny form of every development. We want to sale our products and little produce from our jhums if the roads are built great. We want to travel like anyone of the Nagas beyond. We want to travel smooth and calm.
Building roads just for a show off, like a fashion show is not acceptable anymore. Where is the drainage gone and the roads have a lover in itself that they have to go in flow togther. They should not be seperated apart. If not they would last never to our expectation and fall apart. So, let roa marry a drainage so that the road serve us happily.
The urban roads are more in bad shape and we don’t much expect for a better one in the rural set up. The villagers crying in their hearts but never can be shared of their difficulties and problems all in vain and vague. It is a dream and a dream that goes dreaming on that we never know.
Everyone at helms wants more of profit than doing good for the society. That is worth not mentioning that we are still a Christian,born to serve for our well being. We take it otherwise in another perspective that other brethren inclusive self is suffering every day in all walks and works of life.
Let today be a suffering but let that never happen in the next. We know that good roads have many thing to offer to every one in general. We the Government still at the crossroad and in confusion what actually is to be taken up for the good of the general public is failed in many ways.
Roads whether of highways or the normal roads. Highways are still a dream for the Easterners. The roads are only taken up only when it is proposed. But what happens when that proposed are not put up for the action. That results to the failure of the roads coming into existence.
When there is good road, remember that good amount of development is taking place. The roads are the mirrors for every development and roads speaks a lot how far the development is progressing.

Good schools can benefits thousands, a good hospital will serve the lakhs but a good road will serve every individual without any bias of rich or poor, black or white . Good roads are a backbone for every development agenda. Built the roads that can last thousand years and atleast it will last hundred. Built the roads as if, it won’t ware away after all we cannot build the way that is to be built.
I am surprise why we cannot have a good road. After all we have enough material for the road building. Is it that so costly for the construction for the road. I know every thing takes time but still then the dreams for having a good road is taking relatively more as was not expected.
Therefore , my suggestion to every concern citizen is that we must build road and campaign for good roads and let their be a roads that will match the quality of other roads in other states and country.
When you become some in your locality or your village. Always propogate the condition of the road of the village or your locality. Because roads can safe you in many ways. It may be seen directly but you can understand how a good road can save you. When the roads leading to your house is good or the roads in Nagaland is good. It will autoamtically save you in different ways.
It will save your time:- Time is very much important to talk about here. Time can save you , time can help when you really make use of it. Good roads save you time. Bad roads will never. Instead for example. if you have a car, you will indeed be at the garage repairing all the time and spending time along with it. Bad roads are a hurdle for development. Good roads help help in different ways. It saves time and never damage our vehicle which you cared about. It time we always stand for a better roads, better highways. So that good transport brings prosperity and development and more commodity becomes cheaper that will benefit all. The poor and rich in one go , no barriers rather all same.

Choose good roads and it will benefit you many fold. But if you choose bad road ,consider its a bad luck because it make you to struggle for years that cannot be able to make a comparison for others who have opted for a good road infrastructure. The vast gap and differences can be metted out in the long run. Roads are the very much important but it is never getting materialist in the real world because people are so much worried of individual benefits and profit. So the the fact of reality is getteing shattered in Nagaland. The approximate fund used for building roads is not even utilised the half of the fund. It will no longer settle , untill the right thinking people is born.
